What you will need
Nothing, to start the application. To finish it, having these nearby saves you a second sitting:
- Your last two pay stubs, or your last two years of tax returns if you are self-employed
- A rough idea of what you owe on any credit cards, loans, or lines of credit
- Your current mortgage statement, if you have one
- The address of the property, if you have one in mind
If something on that list is missing or messy, send the application anyway. Sorting out messy is a large part of my job.
What happens after you hit submit
I get a notification and I read it, usually the same day. Then I call or email you with what I am seeing and what I think your options are. There is no automated pipeline and no junior assistant. It is me.
