One of the most common things I hear as a mortgage agent is, “I have to wait until I’m fully back at work.” That’s not always true. Every situation is different, but maternity leave doesn’t automatically mean putting your financial goals on hold.
What you might still be able to do on leave
Whether you’re buying your first home, upgrading for more space now that the family is growing, refinancing, or planning for a future family cottage, there may still be options available. The key is looking at your real situation instead of assuming the answer is no.
